Benjamin J. Sime

Prior to joining the Hess and Jendro team, I worked as a judicial law clerk for a Family Court Referee in the Hennepin County District Court-Family Division. I also worked as a a Guardian ad Litem for the 10th Judicial District in Child Protection, Orders for Protection, Custody Disputes, Juvenile Delinquency, Adoptions and Criminal Matters. My passion is family law, specifically child focused matters. Prior to advocating for clients in custody disputes, I spent several years working in the mental health field. Working closely with families and individuals struggling with mental health issues has allowed me to understand the nuances of mental health and its impact upon families and children. I take pride in finding creative solutions to complex issues.

I enjoy reading, sports, and spending time with my wife and children at our cabin in northern Wisconsin.
